Adam Rosenthal is a nationally recognized employment law attorney, speaker, commentator, and author. Adam advises domestic and global companies on employment law compliance, litigation, management training, workplace culture, and strategic personnel decisions. Adam engages his audiences by infusing his presentations with humor, captivating stories, and practical “real world” advice from an employment litigator. Adam has trained and lectured over 50,000 employees and managers on a variety of pertinent and timely topics. In addition to speaking to HR professionals and attorneys, Adam has presented at annual meetings for managers and sales leaders, as well as at annual conventions organized by professional organizations and franchised businesses.

Biography

Adam is an employment law partner with the global law firm Sheppard Mullin, as well as a sought-after speaker and presenter.   Adam regularly presents to business leaders, HR professionals, and other attorneys across the country on a variety of topics, from management training and compliance, to complex employment law topics.  Adam effectively uses humor, current events, and popular culture to engage with his audiences.  As an experienced employment litigator, Adam brings a unique perspective to his keynote addresses and leadership training sessions.

Adam is the author of Managing Employees Without Fear: How to Follow the Law, Build a Positive Work Culture, and Avoid Getting Sued (SHRM, 2021).  In this book, Adam empowers managers on how to build a positive work culture, while avoiding many of the pitfalls which often lead to preventable and costly employment lawsuits.  Over the past several years Adam has presented to thousands of SHRM members at SHRM’s Annual Conferences in Las Vegas and New Orleans.

Adam received his BA in History and Education from the University of California, Los Angeles and his JD from the University of California, Davis.
