Adam is the author of Managing Employees Without Fear: How to Follow the Law, Build a Positive Work Culture, and Avoid Getting Sued (SHRM, 2021).  In Managing Employees Without Fear, Adam empowers people managers on how they can build a work culture around employment law compliance, while avoiding many of the pitfalls which often leads to preventable and costly employment lawsuits.

In addition to maintaining a busy legal practice, Adam is also a sought-after speaker and presenter.   Adam has presented to well over 10,000 business leaders and HR professionals on a variety of employment law topics.  Adam effectively uses humor, current events, popular culture, and “real world” situations, to engage with his audiences with the goal of providing tangible and practical lessons.  Adam is a strong believer in the importance of “preventative law” and enjoys working with organizations and their leaders on how to avoid workplace disputes and litigation.

Adam received his BA in History and Education from the University of California, Los Angeles and his JD from the University of California, Davis.
