Biography

An accomplished visionary with over 40 years of cross-industry experience in business leadership, management consulting, entrepreneurship, and academics, Curtis has founded and managed multiple profit and non-profit organizations – providing vision, strategic guidance, and management oversight. His diverse professional background includes Academics, Human Resource Management, Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications, Strategic Planning, Workforce Development, Management Consulting, and Organizational Design. He most recently served as Founder/President & CEO of The Triant Group, Inc., a management-consulting firm providing a wide range of workplace solutions.

Curtis is a Senior Certified Professional in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) where he serves as Director, Field Services for the Bahamas, Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and an Interim for Nevada. H

Curtis’ SHRM volunteer leadership experience includes Director, Director-Elect, and District Director for the SHRM Georgia State Council, former President, and Workforce Readiness Director for Statesboro-Area SHRM. Curtis is also a member of the International Association of Workforce Professionals. He previously served as Chair of “Statesboro Works!” a Mayoral Commission on Economic Development, Workforce Development, and Prison Re-entry; Chair of the Statesboro Place-Branding Committee and is an Alumnus of Leadership Bulloch. He is a Certified Contract Trainer for the Learning Resources Network (LERN) and a graduate of the LERN Executive Leadership Institute. He is an alumnus of Georgia Southern University where he earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees. He is married to Charlotte and has two sons, Jared and Jordan.
